Can you feel me when I pray for you
An ocean of tears my world was blue
The person you once were I came to loss
Forever gone I wish it not to be true
I remember when I first saw your face
In my heart would have been your place
Every moment around you it began to race
Cherished the time, was never a waste
You had my heart I will not pretend
So many memories how long has it been
I couldn’t be around just being friends
I did all I can but I could not mend
You were the apple, the gleam in my eye
The sunshine, shinning bright in the sky
Wish things were different between you and I

“ONE LOVE”
We’re in trouble throughout the earth
Caring about our self and nothing else
We have come to slowly be desensitized
Causing death and destruction on ourselves
We’re not made to be trapped in darkness
The anger and hate we must resist
Happiness I still reminisce
Love holds the cure we must enlist
There’s always light in the midst
We just have to know where to find it
Nothing is ever impossible
Don’t let opposition try to deny it
If you truly knew who you were
You would come to except who you are
During life’s pain that may occur
Later you become stronger by far
Through the storms we must sustain
Have hope and faith in God above
We’re all given a chance to change

“WE COME TO HOLD”
Maybe this will calm my nerves so I can stay on track
I’m on the edge of no return trying to turn my life back
So much corruption, deception on how some act
Trying to ruin others life spiraling about to crack
So much hatred and twistedness in this abyss
Look around in every angle you just can’t miss
How pressure is creeping down on some must resist
It’s hard to out run when it continues to persist
For we are all trapped in this world of sin
Keep pressing forward can’t let the demons come in
My ill mind will vanquish them all this love within
I’m holding onto a grenade about to pull the pin
Love is what we’ve got in this world so cold
My heart pumps pure with a soul that’s unsold
Heaven is within us it was written foretold
Eliminate hate in this world the key we come to hold

From perfection one of a kind in my eyes
To being an average person filled with lies
You’ve come from one I trusted whole heartily
To the one I come to trust hardly
I know now why wrong comes to happen to you
I do believe karma doing a 360 is true
I handed my heart openly to do your will
But I see you want something fake that’s your thrill
Yet I’ll wish you the best my heart is pure
You want disrespect, neglect that I hold no cure
Wanted to be your one for I thought you to be a ten
I’ve come to realize you’re broken, rotten within
I pray one day you’ll see your wrong
I must move forward, here I do not belong
At one point I thought you to be my light
I see it was my reflection when I focused my sight
If this hurts I’m sorry for being real
I had to let you know I can’t keep it concealed

I thought you were a royalty yet you have no throne

Started with a chat between you and I
I’m flying to see you how time passes by
You have me thinking of things I never used to
We talk on the phone but I’d rather be with you
We connect in many ways together we heal
Our love is one of a kind it’s that of unreal
Love is what we have just look in our eyes
Every moment together this love is no lie
You lost your mother I know how it feels
I lost my grandmothers it feels surreal
I have to admit without you I feel lonely
You make me smile every time that you call me
I hold myself from saying how much I miss you
Because every moment away what if I lose you
You let me be myself you don’t try to control me
You are the love of my life my one and only

“TAKE MINE”
I’ve grown up my dear
All I ever wanted was your love
Here’s some things I ask you to hear
You were an angel sent from above
Heart spoken words, truly sincere
You are beautiful, beyond skin deep
The thought of losing you brought me to tears
Forever on my mind, in dreams as I sleep
Never was your fault, I handled it bad
I’m being open with you, courage I no longer lack
The best thing in my life, now I’m alone feeling sad
I left a bad impression, if I could I’d take it back
Forgive me for ever hurting you like that
Fact of the matter is, I was hurting inside
I should have spoken up to keep it intact
Should have worked it out, swallowed my pride
The way I handled it showed you no respect
Doing so I lost a friend for not being a man
I took you for granted and even at times neglect
At the time my mind set was a boy, so understand
I was hurt and lashed out, I’m the only one to blame
There’s no excuse, my tongue I could not contain
I come to humbly apologize, simple and plain
Anger over took me and to you I released pain
You should have never been hurt for the pain I feel
Knowing the kind spirited person you are
I lost you now my heart became chilled
I couldn’t leave you heartbroken and scarred
Swallowed my pride, I don’t want your heart to fall
Even if it feels like it’s beyond repair
If it’s hurt I’ll help it heal, give you my all

“HIS FOOTSTEPS”
His footsteps I heard coming
Just like every other night
Heard my mother screaming
Knew this wasn’t right
The words my father said
Were so ruthless and cruel
Each time she got hit
I sat not knowing what to do
I’d free her from the pain
My eyes wouldn’t let me cry
His anger unexplained
Tears dropped my mothers eyes
Each beating she took
Wished it would be the last
I forever remember that look
Praying time would move on fast
Constant back and forth yelling
Wish at times I wasn’t alive
Just kept thinking to myself
Without mom how would I survive
Her thrown against the wall
Pounced to the ground
My heart would take a fall
When I would hear that sound
His heart was so cold
Anger was even in his touch
Couldn’t understand how father
Would hate mother so much
Some how we made it through
Moved past to a different time
The damage already done
Will never leave my mind
Life forever changed
I’m the opposite of my tree
I’ll be forever be the guardian
Of my loved ones around me

“WHERE I BELONG”
The devil’s standing near me
God’s in my heart no fear you see
Hurts so much to see pain and sorrow
Wishing for a brighter tomorrow
An angels wings are being torn
Evil daily is now being born
We’re burning down this world, one nation
What was once beautiful is now devastation
Trapped on this hellish earth
I know my value but seems nothing I’m worth
Fighting demons constantly everyday
Slaying them daily put them to lay
Doing my all to go in the right direction
Life at times I feel caught in an intersection
Who’s to say what is right and wrong
All I know here now is where I belong

“SEE THE SINCERITY”
Let us pray,
Lord may you come to judge us
Solely by our hearts not our mistakes
For we come to praise one daily
Giving thanks for all that you come to make
We come upon you all so humble
Always praying for those in need
You are ones crutch when we may stumble
Keeping faith in our hardest hours & believe
With your love for us all can be cured
Just as our day turns into night
You’ve grasped upon our heart to secure
Within ones soul darkness shall turn to light
So I ask you to have mercy on thee
For at times I may become weak
Look within the love that’s set in me
See the sincerity of the heart I truly seek

“THROUGH THE DARKNESS”
At times waking up can be a struggle
I don’t want to deal with a world full of darkness
But I give praise to see another day
For it’s a gift I’m not just another dead carcass
Ever have someone close to you say you can’t
Well push through it because I know you can
I’m here to motive those that may need it
For that’s the sign of doing right by a man
Careful with those with their own agenda
They have a motive so they offer
Those same ones you helped out
Be the ones that hate on you when you prosper
There are those that come bringing darkness
Those that bring upon light
You got to keep moving forward
Through the darkness and put up a fight
