The devil’s standing near me

God’s in my heart no fear you see

Hurts so much to see pain and sorrow

Wishing for a brighter tomorrow

An angels wings are being torn

Evil daily is now being born

We’re burning down this world, one nation

What was once beautiful is now devastation

Trapped on this hellish earth

I know my value but seems nothing I’m worth

Fighting demons constantly everyday

Slaying them daily put them to lay

Doing my all to go in the right direction

Life at times I feel caught in an intersection

Who’s to say what is right and wrong

All I know here now is where I belong

After every moment we shared

You came then left me alone

Your actions showed you didn’t care

You were my best friend

Called me your partner in crime

I would always have your back

I thought you’d always be mine

You promised me the world

When I was with you

Said you’d never do me wrong

Yet you turned my world to blue

I’m sitting here without you

You were once my light

Found another that you care for

So I won’t put up a fight

I’ve accepted it and moved on

That was the past so I let go

I thought us to be forever

Together I wanted us to grow

Would I change things back

I really don’t know you see

At times waking up can be a struggle

I don’t want to deal with a world full of darkness

But I give praise to see another day

For it’s a gift I’m not just another dead carcass

Ever have someone close to you say you can’t

Well push through it because I know you can

I’m here to motive those that may need it

For that’s the sign of doing right by a man

Careful with those with their own agenda

They have a motive so they offer

Those same ones you helped out

Be the ones that hate on you when you prosper

There are those that come bringing darkness

Those that bring upon light

To let you know how I feel

Let me start from the beginning

What we have together is that which is real

Our relationship means more than I can show

So blessed to have found one another

Known you for awhile, I’ve seen you grow

Witnessed the love you have for others

The love for your family and friends

Everything I want to share with you

To forever love you, I’d reset life again

These words spoken are that of true

Our situation made it hard to be together

That was the past and it has now changed

Our bond now is stronger than ever

Life adjusted, for you I have rearranged

So in this new chapter of our life

The person you are and things you do

To be your spouse, love and provider

Please help this person in need my Lord

For one is going through a tough time

Give them the strength to endure the pain

Help cleanse this burden from their mind

I know us not to be perfect

We do our best at times and try

We humbly come upon you with all respect

Things that pass only you come to know why

For it comes to be painful when one has left

Yet the other has come to stay

They’re doing their all, trying their best

But the weight inside is hard to rid away

One needs your guidance to help them through

The courage to face all and know they’ll be alright

I have faith in all you come to do

Show them the way provide them with your light

Some people are just like blood suckers

Taking all they can it’s a shame

Others doing their best to survive

Living their life, pushing through the pain

Moving forward from the very start

Surround by corruption, tearing us apart

Hard to separate the right from the wrong

I don’t think anyone is anti-love

But to the negative, I’m anti-y’all

Anyone trying to bring another down

I’m against those trying to plan ones fall

I never planned out this fate

I’m trying to wrong past mistakes

Just me being me, I was always taught

Share if I have enough here on my plate

Never give up keep pushing forward

I’ve been through hardship, I understand

When someone around you is in need

Be there to support them and lend a hand
