Some people are just like blood suckers

Taking all they can it’s a shame

Others doing their best to survive

Living their life, pushing through the pain

Moving forward from the very start

As life gradually keeps moving on

Surround by corruption, tearing us apart

Hard to separate the right from the wrong

I don’t think anyone is anti-love

But to the negative, I’m anti-y’all

Anyone trying to bring another down

I’m against those trying to plan ones fall

I never planned out this fate

I’m trying to wrong past mistakes

Just me being me, I was always taught

Share if I have enough here on my plate

Never give up keep pushing forward

I’ve been through hardship, I understand

When someone around you is in need

Be there to support them and lend a hand

Everything you said you’d never do was phony

I came to see the evil disguised in your eyes

I clearly see now you just don’t know me

I did all I possibly can

Until I just couldn’t give any more

I wanted to give you the best of a real man

You could care less so I had to step out the door

I don’t know what you want from me

I gave you my heart that was not enough

Would’ve loved you always and forever endlessly

But what you’re searching for is not a touch of love

I can see your eyes now crying for me

My mood is dark and my heart for you cold

The journey continues just let it be

I thought you really cared

But lies are all I come to see

Thought you were the one

So was it really worth it

Because now I am gone

Lost everything you had with me

You brought nothing but pain

Say all you want about the matter

You’re the only one to blame

I don’t want to hear you’re sorry

Your sorry doesn’t mean a thing

You thought you could play me

I thought you’d wear my ring

You think, I could still love you

I’m gone and I won’t hesitate

No forgiveness, stop your crying

Hurts to say what’s on my mind

What can I do,

Never felt like this before.

Missing you,

But my heart could take no more.

I wanted you to stay,

Yet you lost your chance,

It hurts with you not around.

I gave you my all,

So understand,

I really thought love I had found.

Your lies and pride,

Made you run and hide,

I knew all about it can’t you see.

You wanted to give more,

Yet you kept it inside,

So this is how things must be.

I really wish,

We could have turned back time,

Go back to how it once was.

Once upon a time,

Reality is I’ve had enough.

Tells how long it’s been

I accepted the outcome

Moving forward from then

Of us just being friends

Holding back emotions

How do we pretend

For cheating’s not my style

To say you feel different

Our path on different lanes

She means the world to me

I’d never cause her pain

So I erase you out of mind

Take my kindness for weakness, don’t be mislead

Wipe the blood off my face, through it I’ll see

For hate may never come to stop

Push me to the wall, I’ll show you what I be

Knock me down I’ll climb right back to the top

For I see through all the bullshit

That’s been placed within my path

I play it dumb, may not speak on it

Yet test me enough, I’m going to put you on blast

Better watch how you come when you talk to me

Disrespect, I’ll bust you upside your head

Hurt anyone I love

You’re going to wish you were dead

Hard for one to give thy heart

For it’s been broken before

I’ll do my best from end to start

So it may trust another once more

Slowly will I open my heart

Little at a time no need to rush

Once within never apart

All I need is your tender touch

Trust is left not all is gone

Do all I can for you I adore

As long as my heart is looked upon

I hope thy loves one even more

Forever in my heart, always in thy head

Never would one think to depart

“MOTHER”

This goes out to my mother I hold dear

She helped give me life on this earth

I will forever hold her in my heart near

Staying by my side since first day of birth

She is the person that helped make me the man I am today

Without her I don’t know who’d I be

This is the reason why my heart is so pure each and everyday

You are appreciated for always truly loving me

Family and friends encourage one to do better

My mother though is forever the foundation

Whenever I need help through a storm to weather

She was there always for me without hesitation 

So I now open up my heart to say I love you

I may not have told thee each and everyday

Understand every word I wrote to be so true

Within ones heart you shall inside forever stay
