I come to embrace you,

As I hold you near.

Pull you towards me,

To whisper in ones ear.

Your heart is your strength,

And also ones weakness.

A gift given from God,

Expect nothing less.

At times I know,

It may feel hard to get by.

You come to question,

May even wonder why.

For if the son of God,

Endured temptation and pain.

Who’s to say we won’t,

Go through some of the same.

One must go through trials,

Before taking a test.

So to prove your faith,

Would you expect anything less.

I’ll always be with you,

Right there to guide you right.

I am but your caretaker,

Your angel leading you to light.
