Don’t lose a diamond

Playing with stones

Wake up one day

And you’re left there all alone

We have but one life to live

Why throw happiness away

Lose one who sincerely gives

For a moment that will not stay

Saddest thing in life

Is to lose a jewel you had at hand

Why it happens so often

I have yet to truly understand

It’s so sad to say

These words so often come to be true
